The focus of these packages is on how teaching English is enhanced by digital technologies, the rationale for using a technological approach and the ways in which this approach changes how students learn, how their understanding of spoken and written English develops, and how skills are improved.

The early years of schooling

This package explores how you might plan and teach a unit of English in which students learn to analyse and create multimodal texts. This package is based on the content descriptions for students working at the Year 2 English level but it is aimed at all teachers of students working at the F-4 levels of English and could be adapted for any of those levels.
